Regulations on Education and Training of Police Officials, Article 37 (Return of Required Expenses for Violation of Obligations)

① 경찰청장은 위탁교육훈련 대상자가 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하게 된 경우에는 별표 3의 기준에 따라 그 대상자의 위탁교육훈련에 든 교육훈련비(여비는 포함하고 보수는 제외한다)의 전부 또는 일부를 본인이나 그의 보증인(「보험업법」에 따라 보증보험증권을 발행한 보험회사를 포함한다)으로 하여금 반납하게 해야 한다.

② 경찰청장은 의무복무기간 중에 있는 위탁교육훈련 대상자가 퇴직하기를 원하는 경우에는 면직 결정 전에 제1항에 따른 소요경비를 반납받기 위한 조치를 해야 한다. 이 경우 교육훈련비 지급기관과 면직 결정기관이 서로 다를 때에는 면직 결정기관의 장은 면직 결정 전에 교육훈련비 지급기관의 장과 면직 결정 여부 및 시기 등을 협의해야 한다.

③ 경찰청장은 위탁교육훈련 대상자가 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하여 교육훈련 성과가 부진한 경우에는 그 대상자의 위탁교육훈련 소요경비를 20퍼센트 범위에서 반납하게 할 수 있다.
