경비교도대 폐지에 따른 보상 등에 관한 법률 제1조(목적)

이 법은 교정시설의 경비교도가 폐지됨에 따라 경비교도대의 대원이었던 경비교도로서 직무수행 중 부상을 입고 퇴직하거나 사망한 사람 및 그 유족에 대한 보상 등에 관하여 규정함으로써 이들의 생활안정과 복지향상에 이바지함을 목적으로 한다.
