각급 법원의 설치와 관할구역에 관한 법률 제5조(행정구역 등의 변경과 관할구역)

① 법원의 관할구역의 기준이 되는 행정구역이 변경된 경우에는 이 법에 따라 법원의 관할구역이 정하여질 때까지 정부와 협의하여 그 변경으로 인한 관할구역을 대법원규칙으로 정할 수 있다.

② 인구 및 사건 수 등의 변동으로 인하여 시ㆍ군법원의 관할구역을 조정할 필요가 있다고 인정되는 경우에는 이 법에 따라 관할구역이 정하여질 때까지 그 관할구역의 변경을 대법원규칙으로 정할 수 있다.
